From Engineering to image making
I’ve spent my working life in the world of Engineering, but photography has always been my passion. My introduction to photography started much earlier, in my fathers darkroom. He was a devoted amateur photographer, you could say I was raised with developer and fixer in my blood.
Now, having retired from my life in Engineering, I am reclaiming my time to focus on the art of making images. My background in engineering naturally influences how I see the world—I'm drawn to the mechanics of a shot, the precision of a moment, and the technical challenge of capturing movement.
The Goodwood Connection If you’ve explored my portfolio, you’ll notice a strong pulse of engines and adrenaline. I’ve been a regular at Goodwood since 2012, attending over 35 events, though my history with the track goes back to the 1996 Festival of Speed. While motorsport remains a core passion, I am currently expanding my horizons into street, travel, and landscape photography—applying that same "engineer’s eye" to the quiet beauty of a horizon or the candid energy of a city street.
Current Work & Looking Ahead Every image currently featured on this site was captured during 2025. This is just the beginning; as I spend more time behind the lens, I look forward to sharing both new adventures and curated highlights from my archives.
Let’s Start a Conversation Photography is subjective by nature. Whether an image moves you or simply isn't "your cup of tea," I value honest feedback. And if you see a spark of something you’d like to collaborate on, I’m always open to new opportunities.
